Vrangel (Russian: Вра́нгель) was an urban locality (an urban-type settlement) in Primorsky Krai, Russia, located on east coast of Nakhodka Bay.

Nakhodka Bay foundation date is unknown. On December 1, 2004 it was merged with the city of Nakhodka. Vostochny Port, one of Russia's largest ports, is located near Vrangel.

Climate

Primorsky Krai is influenced by cold, dry continental air in the winter. Temperatures at this time of year are well below freezing even on the coast. Summers are mild and wet, with warm monsoon rains frequently arriving from the south.
